The Best Donuts! (well, at least the ones we feel are the best)

Big Jim's in Glendale- try the chocolate chip bar, a bar donut filled with chocolate filling and chocolate chips topped with chocolate glaze and sprinkled with chocolate chips.  

Donut Man in Glendora- strawberry and peach filled donuts...um, yum! The tiger tails (a glazed and chocolate twist)...we cannot get enough. The Donut Man is open 24 hours. We enjoy going around midnight for fresh tiger tails!

Bob's Coffee & Donuts in Fairfax- we enjoy these donuts while sipping on a fresh, delicious cup of coffee. Bob's has beignets, too! 

Donut Friend in Highland Park- you can choose one of their delicious creations (like "jets to basil" which is a glazed donut with goat cheese, strawberry jam and fresh basil topped with a sugar glaze and balsamic reduction) or build-your-own. You can choose from a variety of jams, delicious fillings like whipped cream and vegan custard and toppings like bacon. 

Fonuts in Los Angeles- donuts that are baked/steamed and not fried! choose from vanilla latte, salted caramel, rosemary olive oil and blueberry earl grey (amongst others).

Doughnuts + Croissants...

...you can't go wrong with this combination, right? Our mom (she is the best at finding such great and yummy treats) recently found them at...drumroll...VONS! They call them dou'ssants and they are

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. You get four of them for only $5. Yep, only $5.

All done! Yum!!

Crumbs Bakery also came out this week with crumbnuts (their version of cronuts) at their location at the Americana in Glendale. They are on our agenda to try. We love their cupcakes so have a feeling their crumbnuts will be just as delicious...they are $2.50 each.
