We purchased a wine tour via Living Social to Rideau Vineyard in Solvang around the holidays. It was about to expire, so this past Sunday became an impromptu trip to Solvang. We not only did the wine tour/tasting at Rideau Vineyard, we also went wine tasting at Dierberg Starlane Vineyard and Lincourt Vineyards. The wine tour at Rideau was fun, informative and full of great wine to taste (from the barrel as well before the aging process). We got a bottle of wine included in the deal as well...but purchased a couple too, of course! After, we went to Solvang and enjoyed pastries. It is only about two hours away and makes for a wonderful day trip/weekend.
